The Chronicle armor is a dedicated gladiator armor, used by the famous Earth gladiators. The armor is designed by the champion Pompeii Max, who still has the record of 221 matches, with no defeats. Several sets were imported to Calypso right before the robot wars, in an attempt to introduce the noble gladiator sport to the colony. This cut-resistant adm-alloy suit is very protective against most close combat attacks with edged weapons - even the feared Gladiator swords have difficulties inflicting serious damage to a wearer.
